The United Appliance Servicers Association (UASA) is seeking a Membership & Engagement Coordinator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early to mid career association professional who enjoys building relationships and wants to play a key role in shaping a growing membership program.

The Membership & Engagement Coordinator leads day-to-day membership operations and serves as the primary point of contact for current and prospective members. This role supports recruitment and retention, delivers exceptional customer service, and helps build an active, engaged member community. 

Membership Recruitment & Retention

• Support the full membership lifecycle, including outreach, onboarding, renewals, and follow-up.

• Maintain accurate membership records and track key metrics in the AMS.

• Assist in implementing strategies that grow and retain membership.

• Help identify opportunities to enhance member benefits and improve the overall member experience.

Member Relations & Customer Service

• Serve as the main contact for member questions and requests, ensuring timely and professional support.

• Build positive relationships with members and industry partners to foster a welcoming, service-oriented environment.

Events & Communications

• Promote participation in UASA meetings, webinars, and the ASTI conference.

• Contribute content and ideas for the membership e?newsletter and other communications.

• Assist with event outreach, registration, and member?focused programming.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in membership, customer service, or a related role (trade association experience preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with members by phone, email, and online.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with AMS/CRM systems (Growthzone preferred).
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to delivering excellent service.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Occasional travel required
• Ability to lift boxes up to 40 lbs.
