The Association for the Treatment & Prevention of Sexual Abuse (ATSA) is looking for a Coordinator, Membership and Chapter Relations.
Reporting to the Executive Director this position plays an integral role in the growth and maturation of ATSA and in delivering ATSA’s mission. This position will play a critical role in membership engagement and development by attending chapter and related field conferences, staffing exhibit booths, and engaging members, prospective members, and chapters in the mission and advancement of ATSA.
This position is fully remote but travels to event/conference sites and twice annual in-person staff retreats (approx. travel of 50%).
Essential Functions Statement(s)
Serve as a point of contact for ATSA’s members; provide exceptional customer service
Serve as a point of contact for Chapter Executives and leaders for membership recruitment, conference engagement, and sponsorship development; provide exceptional customer service
Identify industry trends to aid in the development of membership recruitment and retention strategies.
Develop strong relationships with current ATSA members to increase retention.
Research for potential new members using state license lists, social media, networking, chapters, affiliates, non-affiliated associations, and any other sources.
Develop strong working relationships with chapter executives and leaders and ensure these stakeholders are committed to ATSA national goals and chapter goals.
Actively seek opportunities for the organization to deliver in-person and online presentations about ATSA and membership benefits.
Work closely with the Assistant, Membership & Events to administer membership benefits
Assist with the planning and implementation of the Chapter Leadership Conference(s)
Work with marketing and communications staff to develop membership recruitment and retention campaigns
Produce annual reports about membership & chapter activity
Attend chapter and affiliated organizational conferences to recruit and engage members in ATSA mission and activities
In partnership with Manager, Marketing & Events, develop engaging exhibit spaces to drive participation
Promote ATSA products, programs, and services to members and potential members
Recruit potential sponsors and advertisers to ATSA
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Travel to ATSA national, chapter, and industry events as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
CAE (a bonus)
Experience working with members and components/chapters at a national or international nonprofit association
Knowledge of sexual abuse is a plus
Experience in Cvent and GrowthZone is a plus
Sales experience is a plus, must be willing to approach potential members/sponsors and discuss ATSA

Salary Range: $45,000-$55,000
