The Education & Professional Programs department is a CREW Network Business Center responsible for developing, planning, executing and evaluating high-quality learning and networking opportunities to CREW Network members and non-members alike; providing innovative learning and leadership development opportunities for women in CRE. As such, the Education Programs Manager is a critical component of the successful planning and execution of CREW Networks programs and events. Exemplary communication, organizational and project management skills as well as experience in managing successful educational programs & events are critical to this role.
CREW Network education & professional programs provide the primary engagement touchpoints between members and CREW Network. These programs & events provide a significant value to both the individual member and to chapter leaders and are critical to keep members engaged with the organization. The Education Programs Manager will serve as a project manager and provide overall guidance and direction to speakers, the planning team and other stakeholders. The Education Programs Manager will ensure CREW Network provides timely, focused educational content to meet the organizations strategic goals and improve the attendee experience.
Supports the Chief Learning Officer and events team with planning and execution of education programs, both online and in-person offerings.
Manages program & event planning processes, execution, and presenters for CREW Network education programs & events.
Works with the Chief Learning Officer to plan and execute educational offerings that align with and advance CREW Network’s strategic goals and objectives.
Liaises with vendors, chapter partners, volunteer leaders and presenters, to develop program agendas, monitor registration and marketing efforts, and track registration and revenue history.
Creates, drafts and manages communications between CREW Network and program presenters and participants.
Creates, drafts, edits, manages and reports on program evaluations.
Monitors content on program/event website, marketing materials and app: manages and organizes event details, session information, presentations, and other related materials to facilitate internal planning and communication processes, as directed by Chief Learning Officer
Supports the Chief Learning Officer tracking & reporting departmental and program-specific budgets
Works with the programs & events team to provide onsite management, execution and/or support of CREW Network’s educational offerings and programs, both online and in-person.
Supports and monitors internal departmental payment processes.
For virtual programs & webinars, support, manage and coordinate the logistics, planning, and hosting tasks working collaboratively with the education & professional programs team.
With the Chief Learning Officer, works with and supports the work of the Local Arrangements Committee and Member Education Committee.
Performs other duties related to this role, as assigned.
General Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with three or more years of progressive experience in educational program development, planning and execution (virtual and/or in-person).
Required tasks relating to onsite CREW Network events will include light- to heavy- lifting and carrying supplies; staff are expected to pack/ship materials, then unpack and set-up onsite. CREW Network onsite events also involve long days with significant standing / walking, so the ability to be on one’s feet for extended periods of time is required.
Special Knowledge and Skills: Computer proficiency in the Windows Office environment (principally Excel, Word and PowerPoint); a working knowledge of the Microsoft Outlook email program; excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines; organizational and communication skills; the ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work with professionalism; willingness to continue learning and improving personal and professional skills; and the ability to think issues through and focus on the bigger picture are required. A working knowledge of EventsAir, Zoom virtual events platform and experience with LMS platforms is preferred.
