About the Production Editor Role:
Manages all proofreading, editing, and writing and production efforts for the association’s publications. Coordinates author activities in preparing technical or managerial publications for the APWA Store. Produces internal communications and provides editing services to other internal departments to produce high quality written materials.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with members or volunteer groups, be self-motivated, works well in a fast-paced environment and be eager to work as part of a collaborative team. Our future contributor should thrive under pressure, operate with a process improvement mentality and have a passion for strengthening relationships, coordinating logistics and delivering an outstanding member experience.

What You Will Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree required
3+ years experience in publications production type environment which includes a positive progression of increasing responsibility
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be customer/member service oriented
Strong computer skills using Office 365 programs
Able to prioritize workload, be detailed oriented
Adobe Creative Suite experience is strongly preferred
