Manages trustee programs and resources to support the evolving needs in health care governance for Texas Healthcare Trustees. This role leads and manages THT member outreach and programs.  The role includes functions such as the development of member communications, providing customer service, conducting trustee workshops, developing education curriculum and resources, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, preparing correspondence and reports, budgets, managing publications and website, and some meeting planning duties.

Must be a self-starter, flexible, able to plan work that requires evaluating facts to determine courses of action and able to anticipate the needs of future projects.

Must be able to synthesize current health care themes and governance best practices into coherent narrative.

Must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy with complex work product.

Demonstrated proficiency in public speaking and facilitation.

Must possess the ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with multiple, complex projects without supervision.

Must demonstrate planning, management, communication, organizational and people skills.

Application of knowledge of online survey tools, website editors, social media platforms.

Excellent demonstrated application knowledge of the latest version of Microsoft Office Professional Suite..

Ability to travel 20% of the time  around the state of Texas sometimes without significant advanced notice.  Several overnight trips may occur throughout the year.  These can possibly take place over weekends and evenings.

The position involves hybrid in-person and work-from-home work model.  

Qualifications:

Must have valid Texas Drivers’ License and proof of insurance if driving for THT/THA related business.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience will be considered. Knowledge required is normally equivalent to the attainment of a bachelor’s degree.

Five to seven years related experience preferred.

Experience in association management, project management and/or governance are highly recommended.
