ABOUT THIS ROLE
The International Coaching Federation & Foundation (ICF) is the largest resource for business and personal coaches, representing more than 50,000 members and 45,000 credential holders. The Business Development Director - Organizational Membership will work with ICF's Coaching in Organizations (CIO) group and will be responsible for the development and execution of ICF CIO membership programs and initiatives. In this position, you will ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place and maintained to attract, engage, and retain all industry members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the launch of a new membership operating model; complete with immersive experiences, workshops, and value-add partnerships.
- Manage ICF Coaching in Organizations membership initiatives, including the design, development and delivery of membership programs including managing annual renewals, with the goal of growing market share, engaging and retaining all industry members.
- Design, develop and manage a membership referral and partner program.
- Serve as a point-of-contact for members and facilitate introductions, connections, and utilization of services and resources including website, research, and other areas.
- Partner with cross-functional departments to secure support, cooperation, and resources to deliver membership programs.
- Proactively build and manage the ICF Coaching in Organizations sales funnel including, proactively identifying prospects, and initiatives to identify, engage and attain new members.
- Collect, consolidate and manage membership data from across multiple locations, validate and operationalize the data in preparation to migrate into a CRM.
- Onboard members and ensure timely and accurate CRM member record maintenance.
- Maintain periodic contact and proactively monitor member satisfaction through surveys, stakeholder interviews, focus groups, etc.
- Create targeted contact lists for event and program related email campaigns.
- Develop and maintain metrics, and dashboards including membership growth, retention and engagement. Influence and monitor cross-functional metrics that drive ICF Coaching in Organizations’ metrics.
- Gather data to design and develop presentations for the VP ICF Coaching in Organizations to deliver internally, externally and to the ICF Coaching in Organizations Board of Directors.
- Engage in strategic discussions internally to develop products and services to resulting in on-going events to attract and incentivize member engagement.
- Engage in relevant domestic and international events and programs to maintain and develop new contacts, to identify prospective membership and business development opportunities.
- BA required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years with B2B sales and marketing experience.
- Access to a professional remote workspace.
- Ability to travel over weekends, attends evening events. (up to 25%)
- Exhibits a global mindset and has experience with coaching in organizations.
- Demonstrated success in the development and execution of sales, marketing, membership/client recruitment and retention initiatives.
- Working knowledge of marketing techniques, platforms, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Experience with complex program management initiatives.
- Experience with Learning & Development programs
