The Director of Philanthropy serves as the principal fundraising officer and grants manager for the IDSA Foundation. Responsible for the creation, oversight, planning and implementation of a comprehensive individual, relationship-focused program with an annual strategy to secure significant financial resources from individuals and others to meet the established strategic goals of a sustainable revenue portfolio. Essential Responsibilities Collaborate with senior program staff and Foundation Board members to establish annual fundraising goals in alignment with the Strategic Plan.  Manage and oversee all major gifts functions, which include principal gifts, planned giving, donor prospecting and research to develop and strengthen relationships
