As Credentialing and Education Account Manager you will be an essential team member of the Association’s Certification and Education Department. This is a multifaceted role within a key revenue generating department of the Association and offers high visibility among the internal team and the association’s membership. Your primary responsibility will be to grow the Association’s Certification and Accreditation programs through consistent follow-up on program inquiries, primarily through account management and consultative program sales, as well as coordinate all educational offerings. Your role includes significant member-facing communication, positioning you as one of the faces of the association. As a valuable team member, you will play an integral role in program development and department operations improvement. While you will have significant autonomy, training and mentoring will be provided to assure your success in this role. You will have an opportunity to expand your skill set and responsibilities and pursue opportunities for advancement within the organization.
Certification and Accreditation Responsibilities
Be an expert in the Association’s individual remodeling professional certification and company-wide accreditation programs and how they can positively impact our members’ careers and companies.
Answer and follow-up with program inquiries, providing information and using a consultative sales approach to grow program participation.
Reach out to company accreditation prospects as identified by the Director of Credentialing and Education as well as with your assistance. While there is a sales function to this role, you will not be required to hunt for leads or cold call non-member leads.
Maintain prospect and current program participant records in Salesforce CRM.
Diligently record all relevant communications and set follow-up activities in Salesforce CRM to assure consistent touchpoints with credentialing prospects.
Assist Director of Credentialing and Education in new program development and current program review and revision.
Coordinate with certification prep course instructors to assure they are available and committed to scheduled prep course dates and are supported to deliver the courses.
Provide staff support to the Education Committee, Certification Board, Accreditation Board, and other committees as directed.
Assist in the marketing of certification, education, and accreditation programs at the direction of Credentialing and Education Director and with the support of Director of Marketing and the Marketing department.
Maintain department web pages with up-to date information on certification prep course dates and educational webinars.
Communicate with NARI Chapter Executives, education content providers, and members to facilitate the operation of NARI education programs and webinars.
Assist in the development and administration of educational webinars.
Understand and manage educational programs technology such as Adobe Connect and Blue Sky PATH Learning Management System.
Coordinate with webinar presenters to assure smooth delivery of association educational offerings, as well as introducing the presenters and managing all aspects of live webinar delivery.
Provide appropriate reports and recommendation to the Director of Credentialing and Education regarding updates and selection of additional education topics.
Provide guidance to the Education Assistant and function as the back up to the Education Assistant when necessary.
Association Related General Responsibilities
Develop a strong understanding of association value proposition and be able to communicate the value of membership and individual member benefits to current and prospective members. While membership sales are not a key responsibility of this role, it is essential that all team members are able to represent the association and its value to our current and prospective members.
Support industry trade shows, NARI business meetings, and chapter events as directed. This may include necessary travel (1-3 times per year).
Collaborate with and support other departments as needed.
This position reports to the Director of Credentialing and Education.

Have prior experience in account management or sales (1 year minimum)
Possess a general understanding of business management concepts
Are comfortable with significant telephone and e-mail communication with clients and prospects
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Are customer service oriented
Have prior experience working within not-for-profit association education or certification (a plus but not required)
Have experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms for sales and account management activities. Salesforce CRM experience (a plus but not required)
Are a curious person who is interested in learning about the remodeling industry and our members’ and the Association’s business operations and challenges
Are a collaborative team player who is willing to lend a hand when your colleagues require assistance
Possess a Bachelor Degree (a plus)
