The Sr. Membership Marketing Associate will be responsible for:
Coordinating and implementing strategic marketing plans for membership, awards and Spouse/Partner program activities.
Overseeing budget for the Annual Awards Program and Spouse/Partner program.
Serving as staff liaison to the Spouse/Partner Program Committee.
Managing volunteer and special committee records in the database.
Engaging members at various levels to ensure participation in AASCU activities.
Two writing samples are required with your application. Writing samples should demonstrate your ability to market, persuade and promote the value proposition of a product or service (preferably for a non-profit organization or membership association). Creativity, context and clarity are key elements to be visible in the samples. Each writing sample should be at least one page and 500 - 750 words.
Experience coordinating, implementing and tracking strategic marketing (membership development) programs, overseeing volunteer programs and creating promotional materials.
Knowledgeable of strategic marketing and communications principles.
Experience working with volunteers in an association-setting or other member-based organization.
Demonstrated and excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines and manage priorities, with strong organization and priority setting skills.
Ability to think critically, demonstrate creativity and innovation with strong interest in delivering a high quality user experience and customer service.
Effectively participates as part of a team and possesses the ability to balance personal achievement with group goals.
Well-organized, with strong process and project management skills and an ability to establish and work to priorities
Self-motivated and ability to work independently as well as part of a team; experience working on a diverse team.
Good communication and inter-personal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with various stakeholders.

Proficiency in an Association Management System (e.g., RiSE/iMIS20 or similar database).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Access, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Proficiency in using digital broadcast email management systems. Real Magnet is a plus.
Ability and willingness to travel periodically as needed.
