Solutions 501 Association Consulting has been exclusively retained to recruit the new President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Oklahoma Grain & Feed Association (OGFA) The CEO will also serve as the Oklahoma Agribusiness Retailers Association (OARA) CEO. OGFA is seeking a CEO who has demonstrated talent in growing membership, providing member value, consensus building with a Board of Directors (BOD), partnering with stakeholders, overseeing operations and fiscal responsibilities, effective legislative advocacy efforts including running a Political Action Committee and leading two full time staff members. Building upon 121 years of industry leadership, this is an opportunity to modernize, innovate and solidify the future direction of OGFA and its affiliated organizations currently headquartered in Enid, Oklahoma. OGFA with more than 75 member companies, is poised and ready for the next CEO who will have the vision, experience and drive to lead the Association building upon the success of our retiring CEO of 47 years. The purpose of the organization is to foster the interest of our members as well as promote, establish, maintain uniformity and equity in the customs, usages and practices of the industry while providing valuable information and oversight of uniform rules, regulations and protection to the interests of trades in the Oklahoma grain and feed industry. The OK Agribusiness Retailers Association with over 95 member companies, OK Seed Trade Association and the OK Wheat Growers Association are managed by the OGFA. The organization takes pride in being the “GO TO” source for all types of information affecting member businesses and operations within these organizations. OGFA is a not for profit, 501 (c) (6) membership driven organization with an engaged membership including 11 Board members and a history of excellence in being the premiere agriculturally focused organization in Oklahoma. Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture related field, 5+ years in industry or association management experience preferred for a CEO who can lead an organization using relationship building and communication skills along with sound management and judgement abilities along with traditional computer skills including social media and public relations skills. Additional Salary Information: Salary and additional benefits will be discussed during final interviews where we will discuss a full compensation package based on qualified candidates. The published rate is a range.
