Learning Manager

The Online News Association (ONA) is seeking a Learning Manager to oversee the creation and delivery of in-person and virtual training programs aimed at sharing best practices and inspiring innovation in journalism. This position will also help ONA evaluate the impact of our training on both participants and the journalism field.
We’re looking for someone highly motivated and focused, with strong project management skills and a desire to constantly grow and improve our educational opportunities. This job will be perfect for someone wanting to develop unique training experiences, contribute their creative ideas and support the global journalism community.

OverviewONA is looking for a learning professional with a passion for creating and developing educational programs to join our growing organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and growing both in-person and virtual training programs. Responsibilities include creating new learning and training opportunities for ONA, curating professional content for our training programs and evaluating the impact of our offerings. This position requires knowledge and understanding of adult education training approaches. Experience with educational technology and the digital journalism community is a plus.
