Hiker, a highly collaborative, Emmy, Webby, and Telly-award winning creative studio, is seeking an Account Manager/Digital Producer for a range of social impact and brand communications work. Our focus is on using design, production, strategy, and innovation to help our partners tell better stories. Work on a refreshing variety of projects with a diverse, small team of full-time strategists, writers, producers, animators, editors, developers, and designers. Help us and your clients be better with your perspective and insight.
This role focuses on account management, digital project management, and research and strategy.
Account Management. Lead the day-to-day relationship on select client accounts, managing their range of creative and strategic needs. Help develop and assemble the best internal and external service set to advance their end goals. Be eager to understand what they’re about and how they tick. Keep up with their sector and know their competition. Be a challenger partner, helping them see answers to questions they didn’t know to ask. The work requires a great organizational and service mindset and prioritizes listening, responsiveness, innovation, writing, creativity, spark and fun. Your work will center largely on the needs of social impact clients, but not exclusively.
Digital Project Management. Project manage select digital projects for these clients and others, using your experience with process management to balance the needs of client-partners with the realities of life inside a busy creative agency. Ensure the team hits its milestones, stay honest and relaxed, and use project management software and scheduling software such as Basecamp, Jira, and Smartsheets to keep everyone on the same playing field. Use your knowledge of digital processes to ensure development is on target. Take care of all your stakeholders and help digital processes be enjoyable, transparent, and productive.
Research and Strategy. Join the small group that leads client Discovery processes, researching various fields and learning about best practices, new ideas, and developing critical thinking around communications in sectors. Support our original work on subjects such as sustainability communications, brand newsrooms, and the role of comedy in social impact communications.
