The Retail & Hospitality ISAC (RH-ISAC) is the trusted cybersecurity community for the retail and hospitality industries with a mission to mitigate cyber risk by establishing trust, expanding knowledge and maturing capability through information and intelligence sharing. With the shared information of worldwide leading brands – including traditional retailers, online commerce, QSRs, drug stores, convenience stores, entertainment, lodging, consumer product and more – the RH-ISAC helps companies build better security through collaboration.
The director of marketing and communications reports directly to the president and is responsible for developing marketing and communications strategies in support of the organization’s objectives to deliver member value, drive growth and build awareness of the RH-ISAC’s mission and vision to reduce cyber risks to retail and hospitality sectors.
Collaborate with the president to develop a comprehensive and aligned strategic marketing & communications plan to define and strengthen the brand, increase awareness of the RH-ISAC and assist the RH-ISAC with achieving its goals and objectives.
Lead the development of marketing projects from concept to production, creating the strategy, managing the creation of all marketing collateral and implementing campaigns, including the annual Retail Cyber Intelligence Summit and webinars, across multiple channels (e.g. digital, print, social media, emails, websites updates).
Lead content development across channels including emails, brochures, letters, blog posts, social media, and web communications.
Manage social media strategy and creates social media campaigns, blogs, webcasts, etc. that support marketing plans and strategies.
Track the effectiveness of marketing programs to identify insights and develop recommendations to improve future initiatives.
Lead the development of internal and external communication materials, and act as the organization's spokesperson.
Oversee management of the editorial and content calendar.
Oversee branding initiatives to ensure consistency of the corporate brand identity both internally and externally and oversees the development of corporate marketing collateral.
Oversee corporate website development and upkeep.
Track the effectiveness of communications programs to identify insights and develop recommendations to improve future initiatives.
Manage the marketing & communication budgets.
Develop the ongoing marketing and communications strategy that promotes the brand across a diverse membership and stakeholder environment
Support the Engagement and Intelligence teams with marketing and communication
Continuous improvement of the marketing and communication function

About Retail & Hospitality ISAC
The RH-ISAC was formed in 2014 as the home of the Retail and Hospitality Information Security and Analysis Center (ISAC) and operates as a central hub for sharing sector-specific cyber security information and intelligence. The association connects information security teams at the strategic, operational and tactical levels to work together on issues and challenges, to share practices and insights, and to benchmark among each other – all with the goal of building better security for the retail and hospitality industries through collaboration. RH-ISAC currently serves companies in the retail, hospitality, gaming, travel and other consumer-facing entities.
