The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals, is seeking a motivated Manager, Professional Development to work in our Commission on Dietetics Registration group. The Manager of Professional Development is responsible for the administration of re-certification requirements and continuing education functions for the dietetics profession.
Responsibilities: * Manage the review and approval process for the CDR prior approval continuing professional education program * Develop and administer policies, procedures and projects that are related to the CDR Accredited Providers of continuing professional education * Assist CDR Staff in reviewing, processing, and conducting audits of CDR Accredited Provider applications, monitoring and processing payments and submitting invoices and other reports as required * Develop and administer policies, procedures, and applications to State Affiliate CPE Reviewers. * Communicate complex information regarding PDP processes and requirements by phone, email or written correspondence to candidates * Complete any other duties as assigned
Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in dietetics or nutrition * RD preferred but not required * 1+ years of relevant work experience required * Excellent communication skills, strong customer service orientation, and demonstrated problem solving skills are prerequisites of this position * Microsoft Excel skills required
