•Distinguished experience in planning and leading operations of a highly regarded and financially successful convention center that has delivered outstanding returns.
•Excellence in working directly with the board of directors and local businesses and political leaders to establish and implement ambitious, yet achievable, financial operational goals.
•Applicant must be masterful in creating and developing outreach and advertising programs that consistently attract high-value events and clients.
•Applicant should be known as a collaborative, integrative and critical thinker, always striving for innovative ways to solve operational problems resulting in bottom line profits and organizational excellence.
•Applicants should be knowledgeable in all areas of the tourism industry.
•Applicants should possess executive leadership experience especially suited for Convention Centers, Hospitality Management Groups, Stadiums, Performing Arts Centers, Resorts, Meeting or Exposition Facilities, Arenas, and Hotels.
Duties would include strategic planning, budgeting, budget administration, facilities management, financial analysis, staff development, team building, board relations, project management, accounting financial controls, contract negotiations, presentations, community outreach, policy & procedure development. Applicant should have proven experience in these duties.
Salary will commensurate with experience.
