Provides strategic direction and hands-on management for ASNC events including conferences, education workshops, and other events. In collaboration with stakeholders, helps clarify goals, determine requirements and feasibility, and ensure sound management and sustainability. Also helps identify opportunities for new events.
Owns responsibility for content and oversight of logistical planning and management of ASNC events. Ensures successful execution of all event logistics including site selection; space planning; scheduling; venue and vendor negotiation, contracting, and management; hotels/housing blocks; food and beverage; technical production and audiovisual; signage; security; transportation; ADA accommodation; staffing; and other details necessary for a successful event. Arranges for proper risk management and emergency response planning.
Works with program committees and volunteers to identify, organize and develop content for meetings and digital products.
Ensures a quality attendee experience at all events. Ensures successful execution of all programming, both educational and non-educational, including general sessions, educational breakout sessions, networking activities, parties, entertainment, and other activities.
Leverages the knowledge, expertise, and contributions of ASNC staff, volunteers.
Coordinates with key staff to ensure that all related functions such as registration, marketing and exhibitor relations are well informed and coordinated.
Develop and maintain appropriate processes and evaluations to align with ACCME requirements.
Oversee site selection of future annual meetings.
Oversee contractor selection, budgeting, management and contract negotiations.
Identify opportunities for the development of new offerings and service technologies for attendees.
Analyze historical attendance tracking and reporting, evaluative reports, recommendations, f or use in planning future meetings.
