The Creative Manager, an essential part of the NGCOA team, will design and oversee production of all digital, print, audio and video collateral as they relate to the communication and marketing needs of the association. High-quality design work is critical to the success of NGCOA’s conferences (Golf Business Conference, Multi-Course Owners Retreat and Golf Business TechCon), our print publication (Golf Business magazine), websites, digital education (webinars and podcasts) and ongoing communications for a variety of NGCOA programs and initiatives.
The successful candidate is simply an all-around design athlete. You can move from print projects to digital with ease. You have fresh ideas. Strongest consideration will be given to individuals with experience with the technology and platforms listed below, although we are open to new ideas for graphic design tools and systems. You don’t mind operating in a deadline-driven environment, but also can respond to things “on the fly.”
The lion share of this job will involve digital and print graphic design for the following projects:
Comprehensive design for multiple websites
Email templates and graphics
Brochures and pamphlets
Infographics and charts
Letterhead and stationery
PowerPoint and Google Slide graphics
Current Platforms and Technology Being Used at NGCOA:
Adobe Creative Suite
ASP, .net, CSS
Higher Logic CMS
Five years or more of professional design experience, including graphic design, video post-production, web design and publication design
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong analytical skills and ability to provide recommendations based on insights
Solid work ethic, and positive, get-it-done-now attitude
Self-motivated enough to work alone, but confident enough to work with a team of demanding colleagues and member customers
