Seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, professional who will be responsible for coordinating membership recruitment, retention and engagement efforts to meet the MVMA’s membership goals. Desired candidate is one who thrives in an independent setting and shares the common goal of developing and implementing activities that work to attract and engage members.
Primary Accountabilities •Participates in the development and implementation of membership recruitment, retention and engagement activities. •Coordinate and builds positive relationships with regional VMA groups, new veterinarians, Tufts/Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, faculty and students. •Develops and communicates member benefit programs and services for members and prospects. •Coordinates all social media to achieve goals. •Follows up on leads on prospective members generated from volunteer leaders, members, MVMA staff or other sources. •Coordinate and oversee emerging leaders program in conjunction with national association. •Assist with internal committee and volunteer needs. •Interacts with a diverse membership.
Experience with membership organizations and/or community outreach preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a member-focused and team-oriented culture. Well versed in the use of social media. Technologically-proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience using a membership database preferred.
