The Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies (ASCLA) and The Reference and User Services Association (RUSA) divisions of the American Library Association are seeking a Training and Events Coordinator.
Reporting to the Executive Director, ASCLA-RUSA, the Training and Events Coordinator implements all training opportunities for members of ASCLA and RUSA including online webinars and courses, conference programming, and other meetings, provides key content for promotion and execution of all division events, ensures member records are properly maintained in a timely manner, and supports Executive Director in member outreach initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of experience in an association, educational, membership or similar organization preferred. Proven training or event management skills. Proven customer service skills and expertise. Occasional travel required.
Additional Salary Information: Starting salary range from the low 40’s; negotiable based on experience. ALA has an excellent benefit package that includes medical, dental, generous paid vacation and a retirement annuity.
