The American Wind Energy Association seeks a mid to senior-level .NET (C# / ASP.net) Software Developer to design, develop, install and maintain information systems.
Develop software solutions for AWEA’s applications, web assets and data integrations
Manage the “big picture” by analyzing the organization’s needs, meet with users and study our systems/data/procedures
Document all requirements, design specifications, work flows and code comments
Maintain a secure software environment that protects AWEA’s intellectual property and data
Software license management
Update job knowledge by studying new development tools and techniques
Data integrity development
Report Analysis and Design
Assist in the systems administration for all software solutions, some of which include:
AMS (association management system)
CMS (content management system)
Email marketing system
Online community platform
Technology vendor management
Assist in network related tasks when needed
Provide general IT helpdesk support to the staff as needed
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
AWEA is a fast-paced, high-energy organization with a very ambitious agenda a staff that is highly motivated. This job may experience high work demands under tight timelines. Occasional travel, weekend and extended hours will be required.
